The world is uncertain.
Student outcomes
don't have to be.
We work with schools to give their most ambitious students something the curriculum alone cannot provide. The real-world skills, projects and evidence that make a university application impossible to ignore.
What we hear from schools
The teachers and school leaders we work with are looking for structured programmes that help students build supercurricular evidence of their capabilities.
Strong grades are a baseline expectation
Successful applicants have evidence of genuine intellectual curiosity and independent work beyond the classroom.
The personal statement has fundamentally changed
UCAS introduced three structured questions designed to surface supercurricular evidence of interest in their chosen field.
Students are already stretched with academic expectations
Students need structured support outside the classroom that complements, rather than competes with, their studies.
Standing out
means taking action
The difference between a student who stands out and one who blends in rarely comes down to raw ability. It comes down to the evidence they have, and whether they can talk about it with conviction.
This is where Standout Launchpad comes in.
A structured engagement, built for your school
We agree scope and model
We work with you to understand what your students need and how best to deliver it.
We deliver the programme
Students work with a Standout Mentor to research a problem relevant to their interests, design a solution and build a working prototype using AI as leverage. Delivered in-person or online, mapped to your timetable.
We document the outcomes
Every student leaves with a published project they can talk about with confidence. Schools receive a full record of student project outcomes, useful for external engagement logs and Gatsby benchmark reporting.
“Security comes from personal agency, not from any particular credential or institution.”
Our goal is not to optimise your students' applications. It is to help them become independent thinkers whose application reflects something real.
A student who has built something, solved a real problem and can explain why it matters to them does not need to be coached on what to say. They already know. That is what we are building towards.
